UFC 304 - Predictions

We've got an exciting card in Manchester, England this weekend!

UFC 304 is set to deliver an electrifying night of fights, headlined by a highly anticipated welterweight championship clash between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad. Edwards, the reigning champion, seeks to solidify his legacy against the relentless Muhammad, who aims to shut his haters up and claim the title with his pressure and skill.

In the co-main event, heavyweight contenders Tom Aspinall and Curtis Blaydes will battle for the interim title, promising a showdown of power and technique. With titles on the line and top-tier talent in the octagon, UFC 304 is a must-watch event for fight fans everywhere.

UFC 277

Welterweight Championship

Leon Edwards (-250) vs. Belal Muhammad (+205)

In 2021, Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad faced off at the APEX. Edwards seemed to be in control of the fight until he landed an accidental, brutal eye-poke on Muhammad, which ended the fight via No Contest. Ever since that fight ended, Belal has not seemed to believe Edwards was winning that fight. Will Belal back up his talk? I doubt that. Leon will dominate from start to finish, with a potential late round TKO.

Prediction: Edwards def. Muhammad (Unanimous Decision)

Heavyweight Interim Championship

Tom Aspinall (-400) vs. Curtis Blaydes (+300)

This bout is also a rematch from a fluke finish. A little over two years ago in 2022, Blaydes and Aspinall faced off in a fight that lasted on 15 seconds due to Aspinall tearing his ACL. According to Dana White, the winner of this bout will face the winner of Jon Jones-Stipe Miocic for the Heavyweight Championship. Aspinall is possibly the most well-rounded fighter in the division, the Brit has the full package. Blaydes is a tremendous wrestler, but that can also be his downfall in certain matchups. This matchup against Aspinall will be a good example, Aspinall will show the world what should've happened in their first fight.

Prediction: Aspinall def. Blaydes (TKO – Round 3)

Lightweight Bout

Bobby King Green (-110) vs. Paddy Pimblett (-110)

I genuinely cannot believe how close the odds are in this bout. Pimblett has yet to face a relentless striker like Bobby Green, I don't like the odds for Paddy the baddy in this matchup. His only hope is to wrestle Green, but I'm not sure that will be as easy as it seems. I'm predicting a voilent knockout by Bobby Green here.

Prediction: Green def. Pimblett (KO/TKO – Round 2)

Middleweight Bout

Christian Leroy Duncan (-130) vs. Gregory Rodrigues (+110)

Not the most exciting Main Card bout, but the UFC is doing their best to include an English fighter in each bout. This one could go either way, as told by the odds. I am leaning more toward the experience of Rodrigues to win the fight, although the crowd will be behind Duncan. This could be a quick fight, haymakers will be flying.

Prediction: Rodrigues def. Duncan (KO/TKO – Round 1)

Featherweight Bout

Arnold Allen (-235) vs. Giga Chikadze (+190)

Ever since the severe beatdown Chikadze took in a UD loss to Calvin Kattar, Chikadze hasn't recovered. I don't think he ever will recover. Arnold Allen has faced some of the best in the division, he deserves more credit than he has received. This banger is a great choice to kick off the Main Card.

Prediction: Allen def. Chikadze (Unanimous Decision)
