The 2024 NBA Draft is shaping up to be an interesting one. With a blend of highly touted international prospects, standout college players, and rising high school stars, this year's draft promises to deliver a new wave of talent that could redefine the future of the league. Alex Sarr, the projected number one pick refused to work out for the Atlanta Hawks (#1 pick) in hopes of being drafted by the Wizards at #2. From his point of view, it makes sense as the Hawks have multiple guys who are max contract eligible. The Wizards have none. Sarr will be able to shine on his own in DC. Zaccharie Risacher is the better fit for the Hawks in reality, as they need a big who can shoot. One thing to keep in mind, this is a draft class that could potentially go down as the worst of all time.
